The School is honoured to have invited various renowned artists to teach courses in Chinese Calligraphy and Chinese Painting. Students can choose from a range of courses according to their own skill levels.

Chinese Calligraphy courses cover Standard Script, Running Script, Clerical Script, Seal Script and Cursive Script. Chinese Painting courses are categorised into three main areas based on the subject matter: landscape, flower and bird, and figures. Students are advised to take Chinese Calligraphy courses as well to enhance their skills in the drawing of lines. 

In addition to short courses, the School offers three part-time diploma programmes in Chinese art: Diploma in Chinese Calligraphy, Diploma in Chinese Painting, and Diploma in Chinese Calligraphy and Chinese Painting Studies.

Landscape painting occupies a very important position in the history of Chinese painting。

From the germination of the Wei, Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties to the maturity of the Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties, landscape painting developed to modern times, in the context of the integration of Chinese and Western times, the forms and expressions are increasingly rich。

This course teaches the development and theory of Chinese calligraphy and painting through the ages, giving participants a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the art of painting and calligraphy。This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in the history of Chinese art, including design, education and media professionals。Experience in painting and calligraphy is preferred。

This course introduces a variety of calligraphy copying techniques, combined with relevant calligraphy error correction awareness and creative practice to help students to transition to the creative stage in a short period of time。Students will practice in class。The course content is flexible and suitable for people of different levels, especially for those who already have basic knowledge of calligraphy and want to try their hand at creative writing。Prepare materials and tools by yourself。
